In this installation, I’ve arranged a set of papier-mâché objects with a painted gloss finish to interact with a five-sided acrylic box. The installation changes depending on its setting because the objects suggest an exploration of their immediate surroundings. Each object functions independently, but is dependant on the others to create a narrative that has no sequence or resolution. Among Friends represents a range of thoughts and emotions I associate with placement/displacement and interior/exterior spaces, and questions the nature of origin and arrival.
